This year’s home tour is taking a look at homes built in different decades beginning in the 1900’s. There are seven homes on the tour this year with architecture from 1900’s through the 1950’s as well as a brand new home, which in Trinity Park is hard to come by. It was filled with extra napkins, plates, utensils, and other sea-inspired accents.

Your home is beautiful – as always! We love “baseball man” and the fun memories and fun your family is creating with him 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your summer. It also means that I purge things to keep it clean, simple and not overly stuffed. I share that all the time; when you decorate, immediately get rid of what you don’t love.

I started my decorating the day before Thanksgiving and it turned out just as dreamy as I had hoped. I want to add more festive decor every year until we are officially the Christmas house (good thing there’s plenty of storage!). I added a thrift store lemon tree to the cabinet above our built-ins. It is an easy touch to add the summer season in this space. With every decorating post I share, I want to encourage you to not stress about it. The worst thing that could happen is that you don’t like it and then you adjust things in a new way to see what you really love.
As a mom of children adopted from close to the Russian border, I loved learning about and observing some Orthodox Christmas dinner traditions with them. Maybe you can share some of those recipes in the future! The 23rd Annual Tellico Village Charity Home Tour and Silent Auction was held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1-5 p.m.
Pictures of the items auctioned can be viewed under the 2018 Silent Auction tab under Home Tour. The average homes sell for about 2% below list price and go pending in around 47 days. Lovely pic of you and your sweet dog.

🙂 Pinning if Pinterest will allow. I started decorating outside with these hydrangeas. I found this bucket at a flea market over the summer and thought it was just perfect to display what’s left of my hydrangeas. I paid over $20 for that old bucket which I thought was too much at the time (or maybe I’m just cheap) but I’m glad I did.
