Dick graduated from Marian Central Catholic High School in 1966. Dick was a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years at Plote Construction in Elgin. He was a lifetime member of Local 150 Operating Engineers. When he was not working, Dick could be found tinkering in his barn, fixing lawnmowers, cars, and tractors.
